G Gathering A Tail Wagging Weekend

A Tail Wagging Weekend

Pooches and pups of all breeds crowded Maple Park for the fourth annual Bark in the Park held by the Currituck Animal Lovers Assistance League. Organizers set up numerous contests and games for the pets --- even bobbing for hot dogs in tubs of water. This all-day affair wasn't only for the dogs though; activities such as face painting and corn hole were also available. All of the proceeds from the event were donated to the Currituck Animal Shelter. Bark in the Park organizer Ginger Sikes said the focus of the event was not intended as a fundraiser but as a way for people to experience the joy that they can have with their animals.
